Monica Healy, a Doctor of Sociology, with extensive experience in public relations, management training, and research and implementation of small business programs, organizes and manages Tierra y Cal's affairs, from workshops and conferences, to legal matters and public relations. Monica is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
Monica has collaborated with companies such as Estee Lauder and La Bolsa Mexican de Valores. In addition to producing a variety of advertising campaigns, she has been the spokesperson for a number of major companies holding international congresses on very diverse themes. She has particular expertise regarding Arab women and their role in the French suburbs, having completed her doctorate on the subject. Later, she worked as an independent researcher for the "European Community Development Exchange", based in London, a private organization for the support of employees and small businesses within the member nations of the European Union. Furthermore, she has significant experience in the area of administration, working for Ruiz Healy & Asociados, S.A. de C.V., and more recently has been focusing her energies on creating access to affordable, healthy housing for low income people.
